Our work begins with an initial session with the student and parents that can take several forms:
- Some students come with educational testing reports - PSAT, ACT or another form of assessment - and then the discussion begins as to the outcomes desired. We map the way to your goals, clarify processes, learning styles and offer essential information and resources suited to your needs.
- Some students come in with goals for higher learning- seeking enrichment in one or several subjects. We begin by taking some inventory on what is working and what is not at present. Then we create a written plan, followed by close written communication between instructor and parents/students after each private tutorial.
- College consulting clients: We begin the intake process with sophomores in preparation for an 8-step college process.

Our approach is student-focused. We provide positive, emotionally based methods of optimizing your child’s learning and success. Schedules are created that match the needs and availability of the student. Most attend a weekly private tutorial, supported by a Monday evening study/practice open house (teachers available) at no extra charge.
In an effort to maintain an ongoing dialogue of educational awareness with our students and their families, we provide typed reports after each tutorial regarding recent progress and next steps.
Our fees are based on hourly rate that includes materials and testing booklets for all sessions.
